Utah Tech PREP is a NO COST six-week summer STEM program for students in and around Washington County. UT PREP motivates and prepares high-achieving students in grades 6-8 for success in school and future careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. Underrepresented students, females, and first generation students are encouraged to apply.
Students attend Utah Tech PREP for three consecutive summers. The program runs Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and Fridays 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Fridays are reserved for field trips and special educational events). Students who are admitted as a Year 1 in 2026 and successfully complete all three years of Utah Tech PREP will receive priority admission to UT SUCCESS Academy.
